This is a brand new theory about UFOs.
|
The book starts where there are floods of local UFO sightings coming through by telephone as the author is lying on the floor drunk because his wife had left him that day. This is a true story, and the author is frank about his own predicaments, including drug abuse and a visit to the mental hospital. The locality concerned is the Exmouth area of Devon. It turns out the at the area is not only a hotbed of UFO activity, but has a long history of high strangeness going back hundreds of years. The author compares Exmouth to other similar areas around the world. They all have one thing in common: they were once more heavily populated than they are now. The author then comes up with the theory that UFOs and other apparitions are thoughtforms that recur about every 10 years or so and feed off the reactions of anyone who observes them. Although the theory is unusual and new, it has to be taken seriously and eventually turn out to be correct. Highly recommended reading for anyone who is interested in UFOs.
