Justice at last?

The Deceivers is Geoffrey Richardson's sequel to his analysis of the Wars of the Roses, The Hollow Crowns, and here he enlarges on the theory first presented in The Hollow Crowns, that of who really killed the Princes in the Tower. With a 500 year old mystery it is difficult to prove anything, but Richardson constructs and interesting and very plausible case. He constructs his case as a narrative, which makes it easily readable and rather than extensive footnotes the notes giving sources for events are given in a readable format for each chapter at the end of the book. I will let you discover Richardson's theory for yourself, but I can highly recommend this and The Hollow Crowns and they are worth the wait. I look forward to reading Richardson's other works on the Neville, Beaufort and Woodville families.
