Fantastic book!
This is Julian's very personal (and doubtless highly biased) depiction of the highly creative early-eighties Liverpool Scene. It really brought this time to life for me; Cope creates a very vivid picture of a the scene and of the path of the Teardrop Explodes rise to fame, with ever confusing gigs and appearances on Top Of The Pops, before describing the big split that ended the band.
Highly recommended (by me, anyway!).
