Amazingly enjoyable

I have struggled to learn French since my schooldays, and have continually failed as it was so boring learning grammar etc. Some books left me unsure I was using the correct pronunciation, and some audio versions I found frustrating as I tried to rewind to a particular phrase I was struggling with.
With this book, I find that I can't wait to learn the next step. Having the pronunciation above each new French word with the meaning underneath, together with the flash cards and labels have enabled me to actually enjoy the process. Each stage is a logical progression of the the previous one, so that you build up to longer sentences from what you have just learnt.
The book concentrates on enabling you to communicate effectively in a short period of time, and in only a few weeks I feel confident that I have at least a basic ability to make myself understood. I am now amazed to find myself thinking of objects and phrases in French without any effort at all.
To me this is the best language book on the market and I highly recommend it.

No nonense straight forward hands on easy learning book.

I like this book because it cuts out all the tedious waffle and is easy learning in layman's terms.The stickers are fun just put them on the appropriate items . I like the colourful pictures with explanations, i have a mini library of french books very difficult and boring and then i found this wonderful book and thought hey lets give it a go and try this one, and this is by far the most interesting. The best thing about it for me is, "its goldfish brain friendly" as i cant retain information so easily' now that im getting older.So now my other books are beginning to make more sense now.Buy the book its worth every penny.Enjoy'

More than worth the money!

This book is a MUST for anyone keen to learn French confidently in a short space of time. I found myself trying to translate English to French within a few days, and it is also fun to cover your house in French sticky labels! Definitely recommend this one - more than worth the money!
