Below stairs life with a twist

I loved this story of a bored debutante's brush with the exhausting life of a maid of all work. A series of anecdotes strung together with a clever narrative brought this story to life. I particularly liked her time with the fashion designer. It was hard to believe that even after cooking every day for a year that she got not one bit better but all in all this was a very enjoyable read.
