very difficult to follow.

The book doesn't use standard type face, but instead mock "hand-written" notes with pencil diagrams. This made it very difficult to follow. Photos and easy text would have been far preferable.

Great for beginners of all ages

This is a great book! My nephew and I had a great time going through the basics and onto the more ambitious moves depicted in later chapters! Can't say I'll ever be a fantastic skater, but that's more to do with my balance than failings of the book. My nephew's never looked back... which is a shame as I have to keep buying him new boots! Does anyone know when they stop growing!?!

A fun way to look at Inline skating, cartoons galore!

The author has a wonderful sense of humour, shown in his artistic skills through cartoons. He has experienced skating as a learner through to experienced and has expressed all of these times into great tounge in cheek cartoons. A book to buy for a beginner skater, or someone wanting to expand on their current skills.
