Disappointing
|
Ok, I know most people rave about this book, but I my disappointment comes with the DVD.
I previously bought the book on it's own and I do not believe it can help self-teaching. Therefore, I thought the DVD would work well with it as a tutor. However, I do not think it does. The 'teacher' claims he will now teach the next part of a song, but in fact, just plays it ( I've only got up to the first few lessons). The DVD video is also out of sync with the speech.
I really believe this book and DVD may work better with guitar classes, using the book as 'homework'
The key part of the book is to teach the guitar player to read music and in it's way it does do this.
