I have borrowed this book and cannot bear to give it back until my own arrives through the post! It describes each phase of child development so accurately and I find I am constantly dipping into it to find explanations for behaviours in my 12, 8 and 6 year olds. It is spot on each time with its descriptions of behaviour and is great preparation for what to expect next. This is not just for families who follow the "Steiner" philosophy. It's for any parent who wants to parent more effectively
