Another well written book by the best gay historical writer

This book, which takes place in the early years of the 18th century, is another classic gay historical novel by the brilliant Chris Hunt. The main character, Davy Gadd, a highwayman, is typical of Hunt's characters. You can't help but like him. Chris Hunt's descriptive writing powers are beyond compare and you always feel as if you are right there, living life right along with the characters. I certainly wasn't disappointed by this book but did find it a bit less brilliant than three of his other novels, Gaveston, Street Lavender, and N For Narcissus all of which I highly recommend. I can't wait for his next book as he has long been my favourite author.
