A must have book for every pharmacists dispensary
|
|
This book has been published at regular intervals since the 19th century, and it contains everything on drugs a community pharmacist needs to know. I find that the foreign drug names are very useful, when visitors from abroad come to my pharmacy with requests for medicine. It has an extensive series of references for every monograph, which can be followed up via the Medline interner service. Despite it's very high price, all practising pharmacists in the UK should have a copy of this book in their pharmacy - it's presence in your pharmacy is a condition of the Medicines & Ethics Guide published by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain.
