I read this book several years ago and have often found myself relating the truths I found in it to other people. It explains how God uses those who have treated us badly, to give us a determination to live to better standards. Well worth the time.

Simple but deep truth challenging normal reactions to hurt.

I've read few christian books and remembered much about them afterwards, but this book's message I remember, I rate it alongside anything I've ever read. If you've ever left a church, seen people leave, been hurt by people, it's a book for you. I've read it twice and passed it on. God's way of things comes shining through the pain. It's very quick to read, not complicated or pretentious.

Follower or leader, this will expose your heart motivation!

Three kings. David, Saul and Absolom. Each was gifted, could it be that God could use all three? If you are a leader, or a follower, this book is for you. I was simply stunned at the simple way the writer exposed deep hidden motivations within my own heart. I want to be like David, but found elements of Saul and Absolom lurking deep down. I found myself asking many deep soul searching questions about my own motivations in either following or leading. I thoroughly recommend this book to you! You'll read it in less than 2 hours - provided you don't have to put it down to examine the ugly motives that are highlighted.
