I found this book quite easy to read and also very informative. It includes several transcripts of conversations with bilingual children- charting their literary development and also loads of information on how educators can provide the best for these children for whom English is an additional language.
She also includes excerpts from policy and practise of several schools with successful multicultural policies.
An ideal resource for trainee teachers or anyone, in fact, interested in multicultural education!
