charming and entertaining for a small book

If you ever once had a cat or even live with a cat now you will love this book. Its quirky little drawings demonstrate perfectly what cats are like and the small annoying things cat do that once you read about in this book you will find cute again. Things like how they sit or attack the one piece of paper on your desk that you wanted to use or that weird indescribabal noise that they make every time a birds outside your window. I'd recommend this little book to any cat lover (or it make an excellent gift to a cat lover) because it will be one of the nicest presents you could give them and one of the cutest books about having a cat on your shelf.

Anyone who has lived with cats will identify with this book. I've just moved away from home and have had to leave my cats with my Mum but I find just reading through this little gem makes missing them a little easier.
Purrrrrrfect ;)

A Book Like a Cat: Inexplicably Charming
|
It's a little hard to explain why I like this book, but it's engaging in a way that any close observer of cats will appreciate. If you aren't a dyed in the wool cat lover, you will probably be mystified by this book. But if you enjoy the company of cats, you'll find this cartoon collection to be something special.
The cartoons trace the daily activities of an Everycat named Misty, who does all the things cats usually do--climb into grocery bags, lick themsleves at awkward times in awkward places, knock things off of desks, hiss at vacuum cleaners, run around the house for no particular reason. There's no punchline as such to any of the cartoons, other than a purr and a warm sense of familiarity. It's a testimony to the artist's skill as an observer that he has done such an engaging job of capturing the essence of what makes cats so pleasing to those who love them.
