Great book to lear about elven history...

If you thought that usually intrigue, guile and cunning are thing of the common human, elf or dwarf... Think again. Great book depicting elvish lore in a very detailed fashion. Not only about Evermeet itself and its story, but also about many other issues (origin of the Drow elves, Lloth, etc.) Try to read slowly, as this book is so deep and connected in between it gets to be a little confusing sometimes.

An excellent and well rounded book

It combines the mystery of evermeet and the evil of the drow and also brings in previous bad guys (LLoth, Kymil from elfshadow, the elf eater from the Druidholme trilogy) and wraps them in to the story. Worth getting if like elves (good or evil) and the forgotten realms

Once again, Elaine delivers the goods!

Having been a fan of her work for many years, (since Elfshadow to be precise), I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across this particular book in my local bookstore, without havin heard even a whisper of its release. TSR's publishing record in the UK having been smashed to pieces by Wizards of the Coast's buyout/merger call it what you will... I am now half way thru this mammoth book (in less than 24 hours of buying it...) and all I can say is.. WOW. This is without doubt the essential piece of material for any fan of the Realms, and in particular, the Elven race therein. Buy this book, buy it now. read it always.
