Excellent, honest read for any woman!

I would certainly recommend this book to anyone who has had even the remotest "low" day. Geneen clearly puts forward the issues of dieting and restricting yourself of what you realy want, in an easy to read, compact from.
Very light reading, this book covers many emotional issues and could be releveant to any aspect of your life, whether you struggle with food issues or issues of the heart.
I found it very useful in showing me i am not alone, and there is hope out there! and i have no doubt it will be just as inspirational for you.

I thought I was a fat outsider but Geneen shows me that I'm just one of the club. Geneen says she probably dieted a 1000 lbs and gained them again in her lifetime. This isn't a book about diets it's a book about facing the way your life is. I love this book, I'm sure you will too.

i have never found an author who so accurately describes the feelings of a compulsive eater/dieter. i find myself quoting it at least 10 times a day! i never knew that my eating problems could be described with such humor. reading this book even brought to my memory some things i thought i'd forgotten from my past. check out her web site, too! i can't wait to attend one of her workshops!

Geneer Roth is truly insightful and very real. Her book helped me see many of my own foibles with food. I carry it with me. I'm going to read everything Ms Roth has written!
