please do no buy this book... Contains little information regarding equipment or techniques. The book is very targeted towards people living in USA - with a large chapter on fishing locations in USA and fish species in USA. I found one good use for this book and that was to start a campfire.

Unlike other books in the 'Dummies' series this lacks content! It's a good book but it isn't very long

As the title of my review suggests, the normally respectable 'For Dummies' range of publications is let down by this slightly amusing yet useless guide to fishing. Totally American....like I said useless. Don't waste your money.

This was a very disappointing purchase. I used "search inside" to help me make a decision on buying this book, in this instance it was VERY misleading as the book, which I ultimately ordered, was a miniature hardback. The book I viewed was a more comprehensive version but was tagged on a `search inside'. Misleading/Unlawful who knows but I was very disappointed. If I have to go through all the fine print and look for minute loopholes so as not to buy junk in the future I think I will go elsewhere. Amazon sort yourself out!!!

Do please take into account the other reviews here and save yourself £2.48 by steering clear of this patronising postage stamp of a book. It too me under a minute to read it and if it wasn't too much trouble to get back to the post office I'd return it.
Steer clear.
