Excellent and thoughtful analysis - innovative use of theory

This is a book which manages to explore complex theoretical ideas in an accessible manner. It is also well located in practice and practice examples are used well in the book. Post structuralist ideas are stll relatively new in social work and the author has done an important job in bringing them to a wide audience, exploring them clearly and demonstrating their relevance for practice. I very much enjoyed reading this book.
