Gets better every time!

I think with every book, Richelle Mead just gets better and better. The characters have more depth to them and in this book some behave in ways you never would have thought possible and yet it still makes sense for them to have done what they did. My fave character is Carter and would like to see more of him in the next book. Keep up the great work Richelle!

Darker than the first two

Although this book was a bit darker than the previous two succubus books, I still liked it. A lot.
Seth and Georgina break up, which in my opinion is not a bad thing at all. Of course I never was a big fan of Seth. He and Georgina just didn't seem to fit together. There were too many things she couldn't share with him, because they made him uncomfortable - and I'm not just talking about the sex with other men. He could never fully accept who she was, with both mortal and immortal baggage abundance. so although I hope things begin clearing up for her in the next book, I like where this book is going; Away from Seth, who made her feel inferior and towards whoever the man in the dream is (Not Seth I hope).
Now that I got that off my chest; The only thing I really missed in this book was more of Carter. I have to admit that he is my favourite character, and I hope to see much more of him in future books. There never was a cooler angel.

well that was depressing

all i can say is has richelle mead recently broke up with someone???? that was thoroughly depressing. I cannot believe you destroyed such a clever and unusual relationship. The angst was overpowering and from the sneak preview of the next book it doesn't stop with this one. Its like richard and anita all over again ( laurell k hamilton books). These are called paranormal romance for a reason!! And there is no way Seth would have ever done that.
