DK Moscow Revised 2004

This guide is a truly excellent one. Not only did I buy a copy for my own personal use, but actually bought a second copy, which I left with Russian friends in Moscow in preparation for future visits. The wealth of knowledge it contains even surprises them. With two copies, it makes it possible for me to look at places I am interested in, and to simply tell my friends the "page numbers" They can then decide the easiest ways, and the time required, to visit places in Moscow even they were unaware of. Highly recommended, for both the casual or regular visitor to this city.

This is a Brilliant Book and I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of going to moscow or the surrounding area. Dorling Kindersley are still the best for travel guides!

Best prep book of Moscow for hosted trips
|
|
I have travelled to Moscow several times and bought this book for my nervous parents who are soon coming along with me for the first time. What I like about this book is that it preps you for what to expect in Moscow without having to do extensive research. The pictures are really helpful, and I found the portrayals to be very accurate (pre-Kosovo). However, I did buy the book with the thought that I will be able to help my folks along. If you have a guide or host to help you with your trip, than this book is ideal.
