This is a funny,fast childrens adventure set in Victorian London... The New Cut Gang are trying to make a waxwork of their friend Dippy to put on display... but their day to day life is soon disturbed by the arrest of Thunderbolts dad.... can the gang free him?..... who is passing the counterfeit coins... and why are so many people interested in stealing their waxwork?....This is an excellent childrens read from about ages 8 and up....(but I'm 34 and I enjoyed it too....)

This book is about a gang of teenage boys-with a twist! They want to solve crimes and like betting with a ratty old man. Although it is not fantasy, people who like fantasy will love this, as a change-and as a brilliant book!
