I bought this book for a long journey and it kept me entertained for many hours. The characters are lovable from the start and the plot is woven with moving episodes both happy and sad to keep your interest. I really enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it to any readers who like romance set in the second world war. There are nice descriptions of Coverack and some fast paced chilling events abroad in France. Money well spent in my opinion. Enjoy!!

Chriastian Le Gall is a French soldier still recovery from his injuries he recieved at Dunkirk. Dispite Maizie being married, they meet and fall in love in the backdrop of Cornwall. "Wild Strawberries" by Emma Blair is pretty good book. As in of books by Ms. Blair, the pace of the book is good and holds the readers interest and makes then want to learn more about these two wounded souls that ment during one of England's darkest hours. Overall "Wild Strawberries" should not be missed by any fan of Ms. Blairs.
