I thought this was a beautiful well written book. I didnt just have a tear running down my cheek at the end though I was literally sat there sobbing my heart out. I had never been moved in this way by a book and even wrote to dee williams to tell her. I received a lovely hand written note. I asked her if the book was based on her daughter as the similarities were there. She told me the only difference that the woman in the book was adopted and her daughter wasnt. A fantastic book. I just wish she could write as quickly as I can read because I can't wait for the new books to come out. Caroline

Sad and Moving
|
"Wishes and Tear" by Dee Wiliams was a great book. It was a sad and moving tale of a young Janet Slater who was force to give up her baby when she was sixteen. In the coming years, Janet give up much including her love for Mark to find her daughter Paula. And finally when she does find Paula, it was fated that their time togethter might be limited. This was a great book that should not be missed. Ms. Williams brought out the emotions her characters. Again, this was a great book.

This book arrived at 8.00am and I could not put it down until the last page was read. It was filled with so much sadness and happiness. I never wanted it to end. I knew Julie Dee Williams daughter. I'm sure she would be so proud of such a wonderful book that her mother has written.
