I bought this book based upon the reviews on the cover, hoping to find another Mary Higgins Clark or Clare Francis. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The author's writing style is naive, the characters poorly rendered and the plot-line thin and predictable. I have a feeling that the author herself became bored of this drivel, as she seems to make several 'continuity errors' (For example one characters hair 'magically' changed from black to blonde part way through the book!). This book may appeal to you if there is nothing else left in the store, but otherwise avoid it. Instead, try a suspense novel which actually contains some suspense. I recommend Mary Higgins Clark, Clare Francis or Robert Goddard, now THEY really are page turners.
