The end of the trail     
'Comanche Moon' is the prequel to the Pullitzer prize winning 'Lonesome Dove' and is the last in the series of books following the adventures of Texas Rangers Captain Woodrow Call and Augustus McCrae. Although the book is not bad, it never reaches the heights of 'Lonesome Dove', the first in the series, and it really looks time for the two rangers to hang up their literary spurs.
