Quick and easy.

I personally decided to use this book in my A Level History course and found it incredibly useful. It's a quick read at only 160 pages (which are even broken up with images and portraits!) and doesn't make too many judgements itself; you are encouraged to make your own conclusions. I'd really advise other students to read this as a quick and detailed introduction to Elizabeth I's personal and public life and the decisions (and reasons behind them) she made during her reign. I definitely felt a few shades cleverer when I'd finished reading!
