I worked as a prop maker on the film at Elstree last summer and got to see first hand the amazing sets and creatures that were built.Almost all of them are included in this great companion to the film. This book is a long way from some cheap cash-in, its beautifully put together and edited. It spends just long enough on each section with some great photographs and plenty of concept art. If you've bought the DVD and watched the extras you'll have seen the 'making of'documentary. I found it a bit disappointing, too many talking heads and no sense of what it was like to be there during the production. This book takes you there and has something for all readers. Thats my two cents.
