if your single, or not even id recommend you get this because its just plain funny! you will find yourself reading through it nodding as you go along and then sniggering quite loudly! Jeff has poked fun at all the stupid things us singletons will do just to get by in life and come out on tops! for example you know your single if you come home after a night out covered in assorted bruises, or your keys are still in the front door, and the front door is now in the living room! the only shortfall is, well its a bit short! theres only so many letters in the alphabet but Jeffs managed to make the single A-Z the funniest i know buy now folks!

Mildly amusing

I purchased this book on the strength of the reviews on Amazon and to be frank I was quite disappointed, I was expecting the funniest book I'd ever read but what I ended up with was a book I read in less than a day ( it's that short) which was generally mildly amusing throughout. Okay there was the odd chuckle which is why it has 3 stars and not 2 but I certainly wouldn't go overboard on this book, according to some if you read one book this year it has to be this one but I could recommend a whole raft of books I'd buy before this. I'd buy this book only if you've run out of ideas and if it's a laugh you're looking for go for any Terry Pratchett novel.

In this book, I was hoping Jeff Green would offer some practical advice on how to find love. I was worong but I bought the book not knowing I was buying a A-Z dictionary of dating terms, hence its not easy to 'read'. In fact it's like a collection of e-mailed jokes put in order with a pleasant spin from Jeff. The problem is I did read some of it, I have used a few of the chat-up lines and unfortunately now get avoided by most of the women I once knew. If you're single get out there and sort it out, if you want a laugh you might find this book funny, if you want to 'read' look for something else.

I read this in a few days as i couldn't put it down. Having been single for a few years i chukled at the quotes about dating and the oposite sex!!

A must have book

I could only bear to read two pages of 'The A-Z of Being Single'.. before being reduced to rolling on the floor with aching sides and trying to stop laughing long enough to breathe. If you only read one book this year this is THE ONE. No matter how bad your life is, ten minutes of this book will improve it.
