A fun holiday read. I like the way it follows on from others written by Christina Jones: it's nice to see how characters you've met before are getting on! Would recommend.

Better - Love Potions

This is better, it is tying up lose ties that had been left dangling by the previous book, maybe would have enjoyed Star Gazing (or what ever it is called) move if I had known that more was to come.
Still not quite as good as her earlier stuff, but entertaining and enjoyable non the less.
Would I recommend you buy it? Yes I would, but read the other ones first as there is a diffenate order (many apologies for my spelling xx)

One of my favorites!

Sukie Ambrose fiddles around with ways to improve the products she uses in her massage/beauty business. She turns to her godmother's natural recipes to give her a unique edge (oh, and to replace the expensive oils that her boss bought her and she accidently gave away!) Harmless enough. Not really - turns out that Cora, her godmother, had a few tricks up her sleeve and all kinds of interesting things begin to happen when Sukie tries out her new products. This book brings back some characters from recent Christina Jones books, but the really story belongs to Sukie and her friends and loved ones. In true C Jones fashion, there's interesting side stories and charming, quirky characters. And of course, a guy who would turn anyone to attempting magic, Derry. This book has some bittersweet twists, but ultimately makes you feel great for having read it. Another winner!

A great entertaining read....

This book was really good fun, having read all of the others like hubble bubble and tickled pink, Love Potions carries on with the same characters and the same magical intrigue. Cant wait for the next one....

after reading all of christinas books and loving her work was a bit dissapointed with this one,dont know if she HAS to write about magic with this publisher but i enjoyed the old books better, bit of a quick ending also, still my fave author but not too sure on the magic theme.
