Totally addictive

When I started reading this book I found I literally couldn't put it down and would take any spare moment to read a few pages. It's surprisingly brilliant and I now recommend it to all my patients who have issues with weight. It has a wealth of extrememly useful information which is also very practical, making it so easy to employ into daily life. Another thing I really respected about the book is that it stood by models who, I seriously think, undergo far too much stress and aren't just pretty faces in anorexic bodies like other authors of diet books picture them.

Surprisingly good

I originally bought this book for a laugh & out of curiosity. I finished it in one night! You're bound to know most of the things and tips already, but it's very entertaining with its funny anecdotes and useful tips, such as: "If the food looks white, soft and fluffy, you're body will soon look the same!" This book somehow makes you feel good about yourself and makes you want to start being healthier, which is great and thankfully, it doesn't bang on about excercise too much!!

Buy this book and never look back

Written by an ex supermodel, I instinctively that this book would be a typical diet guide from someone who has never had to diet in her life! I couldn't have been more wrong! The book promotes sensible and healthy eating habits precisley to help readers overcome the power of controlling diets and media manipulation and help them acquire the confidence to ignore unhealthy weight-loss options. It's full of testimonials from people like Elle Macpherson, who shatter a few myths about the eating habits of todays top professional models and it's packed full of recipies, sensible tips and ideas from people who first and foremost have to "look" healthy and illustrate how anyone can do adopt a similar approach and benefit. Nixon shows the reader how to find the right attitude to your food and your figure and how to how to drop bad habits and negative self-imagery. She also reminds us that our bodies are not temples after all, encouraging women to relax about having the odd treat.Highly recommended.
