Do not buy this book
|
The whole of Central Europe appears on just 3 or 4 pages, with most of the book given to obscure areas of Russia and east of Istanbul.
The book is too fragile.
The scale is rubbish.
I ended up buying a tomtom!
You're never going to travel from Portugal to Minsk, across to Malmo, then down to Athens. So get something other than this that is perhaps more specific to the countries you will be visiting.

A good value map, but with a few caveats
|
Generally, this is a good value map in a clear format. A few gripes though from someone planning a trip to Eastern Europe:
(1) the spiral binding obliterates certain details including place names that are on the centre join, (sometimes the only recourse is to consult another atlas)
(2) Eastern Europe, particularly Romania, is as usual relegated to a smaller scale. (It would be nice to have at least all the EU to the same decent scale),
(3) Useful individual country information, such as driving regulations would be very helpful, as these do appear in certain competitive publications.
