Fantastic book - Grade A for sure!!

This book is excellent, especially if you are studying A level chemistry and thinking of doing a degree in Chemistry. It's superb, it has helped me out a lot and I have achieved a grade A for A level chemistry - with the help of this book. It's much better than LETTS, COLLINS books! I have learnt a great lot with the help of E.N Ramsden books. -The structure of the book is so comprehensible. At the end of the each chapter there are plenty of question's to practise with answers! If anybody is studying A level Chemistry, go for this book -you'll pass with a Grade A!.

Homeschoolers delight!!

I love this text book! It helped me teach my sons the awesome delights of chemistry. As a parent homeschooler I found the text easy to understand with highly detailed diagrams. I taught myself with this text resource then passed on knowledge to my kids who have found a refreshing fascination with all things chemistry. Well done Ms Ramsden!

This book is beautiful. However, it needs further improvement in the fundamental chapter. It also needs to to be presented according to the present syllabus.

Excellent text for A - Level Chemistry

This revised text covers all aspects of the new AS and A2 specifications. Thorough explanations and comprehensive diagrams make this book easy to read and understand. The organic chemistry sections are particularly good. Finally the summaries at the end of each chapter break down the information to the absolutely necessary which is useful when revising. The only drawback is that it does tend to get into too much detail, which can cause confusion.

All in all a great buy!

One of the best A level texts on this subject I have read!

This book uses detailed and concise explanations aswell as useful educational diagrams. It is so concise that it is very easy to reserch too much and end up learning things that you don't need to. It is written in a way which stimulates the mind and questions the brain.
