They say if you want to be the best at something, then you have to go to the source of where you can aquire the skill to be the best. Dominic gives you that skill. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. I have done away with shopping lists, notes for meeting, joting down mobile numbers etc, its just not necessary. I once flabbergasted a group of friend by memorising (a binary number) 1000 sequence of zeros and ones in 25 minutes and repeating the whole number sequence to them backward and forwards 2 hours later. To this day they think I have a super charged memory. This is a hell of a book. Buy two if you have to !

Excellent book, definitely worth buying

I don't normally give 5 stars for any book, but in this instance I must do so. Over the last 10 years, I have read all the tony buzan books and have lots on phsycology and memory, but I always struggled to learn things in a way that was not mentally cluttered. The closest I got to a working method was just simple image association, but it had no structure and was hard to really remember things long term. This book, however, helped me organise my images more logically and I have used the method of location/image association by using towns to store images in places where I know the meaning. Also, because the town is known to you (or you can even create your own), half of the work is done, unlike with learning a numbering system and learning journies for ordered items. For the price of this book, you shouldn't think twice. Just add it to your basket and order it.

It really works if you persevere

I have bough and read many memory books including titles by Harry Lorayne and Tony Buzan. This is by far the easiest book to read and get good results from. Dominic mainly teaches you the Journey/location method. You must, however be prepared to put a bit of effort into it, but if you do I promise you will not be disappointed. I have amazed my friends with these 'tricks'. Buy it and you will be able to remember anything you want.

I don't think any of the reviews do justice to the quality of the material in this book. It is so completely wonderful and so completely incredible that I can't believe I didn't spend the very small amount of money and the time (not very small, but much more useful than the minutes you spend watching TV, or on your computer or playing video games or whatever other mindless activities you have) with this book YEARS AGO! To really give this book the review it deserves I would need pages, I did this on another site but 1,000 words restricts you somewhat. If you find that you can't even remember a ten word list in order, then you need this book. He will teach you how to do 1,000 times that. Learn from the World Memoy Champion how he does it. The people who beat him also used his method, and I wouldn't be surprised if there was never another World Memory Champion who didn't use the Dominic System. Get this book, and do yourself a world of good. Don't consider it, DO IT! You have no idea what you are missing.
