Cartoon style plays
|
Simplified versions of Shakespeare's plays, very cleverly re-told in cartoon strips, that helps bring them to life for children (and adults) to understand.

A brilliant, delightfully witty summarisation

A beautiful introduction to Shakespeare's most popular plays, perfect in every detail. Marcia Williams crystallises the plots of seven plays, each captured in four pages of comic strip. The result is accessible to quite small children while capturing all the magic and richness of the originals. My seven-year-old daughter's copy is falling apart from overuse. Please can we have a second volume (Othello, Twelfth Night, Lear...)?

i have never seen such an inspiring variety of work available to children . i have as a parent been happy to read and have also enjoyd learning .I have found my children very focused on what is quiet diffiault to understand sometimes but the format makes them willing to try ,they are only 4 and 6 .There is more there for older children but we liked it so much that we tried and enjoyed it.
