Simple but fun story

This is the story of two neighbours, Mr Picalilli and Mr Pod who each own a cat - Millie & Tod.
The story repeats constantly e.g.
Mr Pod lives in a ground floor flat and keeps himself to himself
Mr Picalilli lives in a first floor flat and keeps himself to himself
and so on
When both cats go missing a friendship is formed and when the cats are found the friendship continues
"and most of the time ... everyone was happy"
Very simple and sweet and the repetition meant my 3 year old knew what was coming and so really engaged with it. I thought it would be a one read wonder but we actaully renewed it 3 times from the library.
