Customer Reviews:
A ripping read
I have been plagued by internal gasses for a long time and most of the time making light of the situation has been one of the ways to deal with the problem. I was given this book for chritmas one year and I found it informative and funny. It was a breath of fresh air!
blah blah blah
There are about 3 really funny pages in this whole book, okay maybe 4. It wasn't exactly what I thought it would be. I expected hours of laughter but I read the whole thing in about 30 minutes and part of it I skimmed through because, it just wasn't funny. Save your money on this one.
Interesting - I could add some more fart phrases too..
I bought this book for a friend who has a lot of experience in the topic .. so that he can have a 'scientific approach'. I had a look on the book, and it was pretty funny. It was also interesting to learn why the farting exists, and there were a lot of fart stories..
In the end there is a dictionary in various languages about farting phrases. I wish I had taken the note of the publisher to correct one typo there ('plange' in the Italian phrases > should be 'piange'), and to add some more farting dialogues. Well, there were none in Finnish, here some randoms that sound fun: "Tostai on hernekeittopäivä." (Thursday is the day of pea soup). "Taisin päästää kaasua" (I think I leaked some gas). "Hän on kova piereskelijä" (He/she is a hard-core farter) and "Vanha pieru" (Old fart)...
An aboslute must!
A little book full of info and nonsense and good for a laugh. I shared the book with my friends at work and everyone got a kick out of it. I got the same reaction at home. A must for all who have good humour. Enjoy!!
Disgusting
Although others seem to find this book amusing, I find it rather disgusting. My young sons read it and began repeating some of the remarks at school. Needless to say, this reflected on our family.
I would skip it with children in the house.
