Never compare this to Garfield...

yes there is a mischievous cat, yes there is a dumb lovable dog and yes, there is a male owner wihtout a girl friend who much the less let's the pets rule his life.....BUT that's where the buck(y) stops. The humour is first rate. The art work is excellant. And even though bucky is as he is. He is still lovable too, you cannot help but cuddle him. Satchel is well capture as the thoughtful hound who often takes every thing Bucky says as gospel, often too trusting.

Read it, love it!

I first discovered Get Fuzzy on the web and have been addicted ever since. It is a wonderful creation very funny but with realistic characters, you have the selfish egotistical Bucky, the generous but slightly dim Satchel and poor much put-upon Rob who has try to control Bucky and protect Satchel. Buy it you won't regret it.

I've met this cat!

Or at least lots of them like him. Anyone who has ever shared a home with one of these little furry anarchists will recognise Bucky right off. Funny, well written and illustrated beautifully Darby Conley's creation should go far. The only hard part is waiting for the next book.

Got a cat? Then keep it away from this book or it will get some very bad ideas of how to utterly destroy you. Follow Robbo and Satchel and share their frustration of dealing with Bucky Katt's tidal wave of destruction. From falling plant pots to missing cans of tuna, sheer indifference to outright rudness - if you've got a cat, you'll know what I mean. You'll be able to empathise and laugh from page 1.

True To Life

This Book is a great collection of some of Darby Conley's best work. "Get Fuzzy" follows the lives of a guy, his Dog, Satchel and his cat, Bucky. When you read one of these comics you can identify them to real life. They are just the sort of scenes that would go on in everyday life if you had a talking dog and cat. I used to think garfield was the best, but I'm afraid he only comes in at a close second.
