great all around book from one of ozs' best chefs!

i bought this book after looking at the restaurants website in admiration and i'm very pleased with it. the first part is his life story followed by recipes and his opinions on each chapters subject. it's a great book for basics such as bread, potato dishes, sauce making and pastry but on top of that it has some really interesting ideas on dishes too. it's not a food porn book at all so theres not many pictures but for all you "readers" out there who dont just look at pretty cookbooks and actually want to learn from them it's a bargain!
