Well Worth It

The chances are you already know that the Crash Course series is an excellent textbook-study guide for medical students. This one is no exception, in fact it is most likely one of the most helpful books I've ever read. It is very well structured, full of revalant and interesting facts and is also packed with helpful and clear diagrams. It is a fantastic book that takes some of the work out of studying medicine and for that alone it is well worth it.

Perfect for revision

This is a fantastic revision guide for the gastrointestinal system. The structure follows a logical 'clerking' approach to the patient, with chapters first on presenting complaints and differential diagnoses, followed sequentially by sections on history, examinations and common investigations. The final set of chapters deals with the diseases and disorders by anatomy. It is illustrated throughout with clear and useful diagrams, tables and key clinical points.
