Clinical Examination - not as good as the competition
I bought this book in my first year of medicine as it was on the suggested reading list, and at the time it was good enough. Now I am in my final year I am having to use other clinical examination books such as Clinical Examination by Talley or McCleods Clinical Examination as they are so much better. Talley includes specific examination for diabetes, haematology, thyroid, parkisons etc, which is essential for finals revision.

Clinical Examination Epstein et al
When the Grange Hill kids sang "Just say no" they were actually rererring to purchasing this book. Please don't do it. I have the second edition, and it's dire... I would heartily reccommend Talley and O'Connor or failing that Macleod's Clinical Examination instead.

Clinical Examination - A saviour for Medical Students
Clinical Examination is a text book that proved invaluable for exam revision. The diagrams are excellent, with some great photographs also included. It really makes clinical examinations an awful lot easier. In essence, I would recommend this text book to anyone who is studying for their OSCE's and needs that little bit extra, often not provided by lectures and tutorials.

An excellent reference for medical students.

Pocket guide to clinical examination is something in between - too detailed to be just a pocket reference for taking history and general examination and too little to serve for studying . But the authors covered all the fields of medicine, really succeedeed in choosing the important points and managed to present them in a logical and comprehensive manner better than in most if not all similar books. This makes Clinical examination an excellent reference for beginners in the field of clinical examination.
