Indulge your inner child

I, like the first reviewer, was brought up on Beatrix Potter. I fondly remember the BBC series and was suitably impressed when I, along with my sister, went to see Miss Potter when it was first released.
Always looking for ways to up my book intake, I thought this might be a good bet - I wasn't disappointed. Simplistic in the way only film and television novelisations are, this was a quick but nevertheless enjoyable read. Perfect for winter afternoons infront of the fire, this will warm the cockles of any and all Beatrix Potter fans.
It's lovely to have this insight into the artist & writer's life and the story that led her to the now National Trust owned Hill Top Farm.
Overall? It's cute and cuddly like your Mum's old patterned cardigans. Take that how you will!
