Overall an entertaining and enjoyable book

Humorous, uncensored degradation. To sum up in three words, they would be perfect. I was contemplating whether or not to buy this book as i had read Maddox's writing on site and loved it; it is one of the few uncensored sites out there that really made me laugh.
However i read the reviews of Amazon customers and some reviews say that the book is nothing like the site. These people are half right and wrong, there is a different writing style then that of the site, this book is more of a humorous reference guide on how to become a "real man". Never the less the book is a very entertaining read; i do not normally read books, i can't remember the last time i read a full one, but i read every word of this cherished piece of writing.
The style of writing is just as funny of the site, with chapters such as "Ass kicking", "Urinal etiquette" and "Road rage", this book doesn't fail.
Getting more to the point though, you will like this book if you are a fan of satirical writing, obviously a man or mostly any other person on the planet. You probably won't like this book if you are a woman, or do not like change.
Sadly, no book can be perfect, which is why this book gets a 4/5. It would have been 4.5/5 but i can't do that. What also surprised me is the length of this book, i speculated that it would be around 50 - 100 pages but there are over 200, which made for a interesting and established read on my holiday.

The Greatest Book in the World

Are you slightly insecure about your manhood? Do you think that reading a book might help you become more... grrr? If so, this book is not for you.
It is fit only for the consumption of the most manly of men, and those who do not pass the test of manliness will have their eyes explode on contact with this tremendous read.
It reminds you just how great it is to be a man, and why Manliless is next to Godliness.
ALL GRR MEN SHOULD READ THIS.

I am a big, big [...] fan and this book is everything I expected and more. Ah, to be able to do the things [...] imagines... What will he think of next? He hasn't posted much to his site these days, so hopefully he's saving it all for another book... Also HIGHLY recommend: GOD IS A WOMAN: DATING DISASTERS. The best in the fratire genre, no doubt.

Maddox falls way too short of the mark
|
I would love to write a review of this book, stating how well it's written and how dazzlingly brilliant the author is, but I just can't.
I found this book to be juvenile at best and it did lack the acidic vitriol and wit of Maddox's online writings.
This was a slapstick attempt which falls flat on it's arse. He should stick to writing about what annoys him, instead of this contemptuous drivel.

If this wasn't Maddox...

no one would give the guy a rating above 3 stars. It's an average book. I found some funny moments towards the end, but overall, it doesn't impress. Maddox's popularity is absolutely huge on the net, and he does offer a tremendous amount of quality on his website, so kudos to him. But this book is nothing special.
If you want to buy this book cause you really like Maddox, then go ahead. That's probably the best reason for buying this book.
