What a fantastic book
|
What a wonderful book, other sewing project books I have bought have looked and sounded great, but when you actually open the book they have been rather a let down on pictures and content and there may only be one or two things out of it that are worth making, so I wasnt sure what this book would offer.
Having received the book I was very very pleasantly surprised, the pictures are great, the items to make made me want to start straight away, and the instructions are clear and best of all the patterns are actual sized, none of this having to enlarge the patterns on photocopiers.
There were items in the book that I had seen in shops and thought I wonder if I could get a pattern for that and there it was, unusual but useful items to make for home and garden, well worth buying at a great price, highly recommended.

Lush, but not great for beginners.

Absolutely beautiful pictures, adorable projects, but very little instruction with virtually no detail, which was a real pain for me! I will persevere though because, as I said, the projects are worth it.

I love this book, it has fantastic little projects for all rooms of the home, but would also make great gifts for family and friends. Beautiful photos throughout! Great instructions and patterns neatly at the back of the book.

An inspiration

This book is an absolute delight. Perfect if you like vintage or shabby chic style, even if you only want to just look at the pictures ! I couldn't believe how many craft ideas there were. They are all accompanied by easily understood instructions and drawings as well beautiful photographs.
The book is split into sections giving you ideas for each room in the house. Amongst the many projects are floor mats, slippers, bags, dogs, cats, hearts, cushions, roases, horses, fabrc boxes, needle cases, strawberries, makeup bags. The best thing of all for me were the Angels - beautiful stuffed dolls with long legs and arms - can't wait to get sewing.

Sew pretty! So pretty!

This beautiful book takes the reader from room to room around the home with interesting projects to stitch in each. Before to long, you find yourself planning where you fabric boxes or house angels are going to sit in your own home.
I find myself going back to this book time and again. It's pages are so warm and inviting!
The perfect book to browse through on the sofa with a hot cup of tea, while planning your next project!
