In a book thoughtfully divided into extensive sections on; Equipment, Techniques, Weather, Four Seasons and finally Plants & Gardens, we are taken on a journey which covers every aspect of this subject. Whilst many of the pictures are clearly from large and extensive gardens, others are of a pile of leaves or a close-up of a particular flower that could so easily have been in my garden or yours. The point is, we are shown how to photograph gardens as well as flowers and that is all we can ask of any book on the subject.

A worthy addition to the photographer's bookshelf - and perhaps a subject to consider when in-between assignments.
