A great book on a great British director

As a fan of Get Carter, Flash Gordon and Croupier, I was thrilled that a book had been published on the director of those films. An interesting read throughout, I was impressed that the author gave just as much time to the not-so-well-known Mike Hodges movies such as Black Rainbow and Pulp... which I am now DYING to see. Where can I get these films on DVD or video?!!! The author lets the subject talk at length about his work and his experiences within the Hollywood and British film industries. I laughed out loud a few times at some of the details. Davies has proved he can tell the story of a captivating character with wit and great style. Hodges, whose voice is heard throughout also sparkles in this book. Why hasn't there been a biography before? This is a must for serious film fans. I'll be first in line at my local cinema to see Hodges' next film!!!
