Atlas of Skeletal Muscles
This is a brilliant idiots guide to learning the muscles in the body, i found it so easy to read, not like so many others, it is a very thin book, and would aid as a companion to other books, you can also colour in the diagrams.

Very clear anatomy descriptions
While other anatomy books may provide more information, I've not found one that provides a clearer description of the muscles and skeleton. Each page shows only those bones and muscles that are being described, so there's no doubt about which parts are being referred to. It's a surprisingly thin book, but its subject is quite narrow, and it provides a good companion to other books that provide descriptions of human physiology, but perhaps less clear anatomy diagrams.

Musculoskeletal anatomy made simple
This book is perfect both for the lay-person with a general interest in 'what's under the skin' and for any medical student at the beginning of their musculoskeletal studies. The muscles in the diagrams would be improved were they to be detailed in red as opposed to black, and details of whether they are superficial, intermediate or deep would also be a useful addition to the very concise text which accompanies each picture.
