This is a good look at the lighter side of fishing in a very readable and informative fashion. The opening chapter - and the explanation of the book title - really sum up the book for me. You can tell it is not going to be a dull how-to book when the author says he wants his life on the big screen and to be played by Kevin Costner!! It is also refreshing to read about fishing writers getting skunked (and not just the author), which makes you feel less inadequate with a fly rod. Even though this is not the best John Geirach offering out there it is certainly worth a read and I didn't put this one down until I read it cover to cover. I particularly enjoyed reading the chapters about Scotland, Texas, and Alaska with the disappearing fish
