Enjoyable and gripping from page one.

Although it is not one of Mr Higgins' better books he is still able to grip the reader from page one. The book may lack in plot and structure when compared to "The Eagle has Landed" or "Drink with the devil", but it is equal in terms of action and excitment. The characters develope well through the book and you are able to formulate your own opinion as to whom you like and dislike. In Martin Fallon we see a hitman who is not on the same level as Liam Devlin, but is still ruthless and suave enough to make the reader want to follow his every step. The Meehan brothers are pure evil and as good a villain as Higgins has created, and just as the reader becomes excited with Fallon they will also fear the Meehan's, and will be carried with Fallon in his quest to remove them. Not his best book but any Higgins fan will enjoy this book. It is short, to the point and a thrill all the way through. Put it on your reading list!
