Prepare for the twist in the tail!

When some of the crew, including Captain Janeway, are found to be suffering from Scurvy (I know, it sounds bizzare, but read on)it becomes obvious that a new source of supplies are needed quickly. Voyager makes her way to a lush planet inhabited by mysterious aliens and semi-orgainic/mechanical lifeforms notorious for their hermit lifestyle. Another human, also trapped by the Caretaker is there, and all looks fine, until raiders attack, and Voyager is drawn into a little bit of a battle (nothing too bad, they've all got scurvy, remember?) But there is a really unexpected revelation near the end of the book about the inhabitants of the planet. It's pretty good.
