The story:
Meet an amazing imaginary dog, an intelligent heroic duck and a half goose and half swan - a swoose! These are three wonderful and delightful and hilarious stories about animals and no-one, none at all, writes animal stories better than Dick King Smith, not even Lucy Daniels, author of Dolphins in Deep, Roald Dahl, author of Fantastic Mr. Fox, or even EB White, author of Charlotte's Web.
About the author:
Dick King Smith is a famous children's author who writes mainly terrific tales about animals. He is the creator of Babe the Gallant pig, which has been turned into a movie, Dick King Smith lives on a farm in Gloucestershire and has been writing since 1978. When I am older I wish to study his work, hopefully, because he is one of my favourite authors.
