This book is excellent, and I would rate it as the best compendium of French verbs currently on the market along with "501 French Verbs" by Christopher Kendris, Ph.D. I thought that Kendris' book was slightly more user friendly in that he gave examples of similarly-conjugated verbs (e.g. under "mettre" you would find references to "permettre","promettre",etc), and also Kendris gives useful appendices, such as guidelines for use of the subjunctive tense. However, I did find that this book had a useful feature in its "Top 50" most commonly used French verbs.
